i’m a little oklahoma girl who found her heart in ireland. we met one night in an irish chat room when i was looking for a penpal in ireland. chatting online led to expensive long distance phone calls, and an even more expensive plane ticket for me when i was 17.  my first time travelling internationally- and on my own too!
it was magical… we shared our first kiss.. he asked me to marry him in the middle of a street..
we flew back and forth while i finished highschool…

this blog was my journal to home. a way for family to keep up with what was going on in my life- and see my new world…

overtime, this space became my place to share my fertility journey with polycystic ovaries. as a young 20 something woman, it was hard to find my place among the fertility communities. so this space became my outlet in healing. through that journey- i found my community, my tribe… i also found my voice.

my artwork has unfolded here, and through this space i found the confidence to open myself up to selling my artwork. a dream come true…

i continue writing through my pregnancy with my first baby, claire- and our journey together into mamahood.

i am passionate more than ever- about birth, babywearing, and breastfeeding, being an advocate for young women, and fertility aware.
