My name is Erin. I am married to Mr. Darcy, and no-he isn’t as romantic as he is in the books and films. Our story, however, can sound like a fairy tale when told properly…But I won’t bore you with those sparkly little details yet.
When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a great many things… Mostly though, what I am is a dreamer, a lover, an artist, a wife.
I’m told that I’ve been here before, that my soul is older than my body. Who knows really- I’m just in it for the ride. To discover and capture as much beauty on this earth as I can.
I strongly believe that your dreams can come true, and I firmly believe in living uniquely-taking chances, following your heart.
I believe in asking questions-I don’t think that it is right, or fair to go through life following the flock. Step up, look around, ask questions. If I could have any ‘pet peeve’-it would be following blindly. If you don’t have an answer to why you do things, or-better yet, you don’t believe the answer you have just given-then find one, find a good one.
I love to learn about new places, new cultures, new…anything. If I’m not right about something, or if you have opposing ideas on something I’ve said-I’d like to talk about it. I want you to teach me something, and in turn-I want to teach you something. Let’s listen, and shake hands, and walk away with a different frame of mind. Ignorance is one of the ugliest traits, be open to the idea that none of us are right, nor wrong on a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g.
This is my space to do whatever I want… Sometimes I write, sometimes I go away. Sometimes I use photos in place of words-and other times they are joined in one. This is my place to experiment and shed, my place to discover-and let you take a peek in.
I’m shy, and vulnerable, and I keep my heart out in the open… I have so much love to give to you, and all the rest-if only you can offer me the same gesture.
