Oh happy child. She is beautiful in her freedom.

Do you know, last weekend, Amélie and I took refuge from the cold in her favorite toy-shop (the Grasshopper). They have all sorts of Djeco stuff there. We found the most gorgeous set of paints: only the colours of a beautiful sun-set (oranges, pinks, yellows, purple and white). It was just so perfect. I was really dreading the price (I had seen some of their glitter pens earlier selling for nearly 20 EUR for 6!) but when I turned over the pretty little box... 2.90 EUR. Yey! And that included a lovely wooden paintbrush. That's within the realm of pocket-money affordability. So we got it. A perfect little treasure box of color.

What a beautiful book!I'd love to get something like that done. Imagine how precious it will be in years to come. Claire is the perfect model in your photos, and her hair is the prettiest colour i've ever seen! those curls!

I have been reading your blog for months now, but I don't think I've ever left a comment. I just wanted to tell you that I genuinely look forward to your words and photos. You and your exquisite little girl top off my already-full heart. Thank you for sharing.
