Starving Artist Ink.

i’ve been scouting this location for quite some time, waiting for an engagement session.

watching it transform through the seasons…every time of the year seems to offer it something magic.

finally, yesterday i was able to try to capture the vision i had.

before a session begins, i always try to think of ways that i can help the person(s) loosen up to be in front of the camera, what i forget about is letting myself relax….

that is the key, and it is easier said than done.

regardless of any nerves, i’m lucky to have such fantastic clients who go with the flow, laugh and play and try anything i ask of them.

i have known caroline since i moved to ireland. she works with my mother-in-law in their salon. she’s always bubbly and sweet and fun to be around.

last year caroline started planning her wedding, i was so excited that she asked me to be her photographer… i had a year to deal with the nerves and feel cool and ready for this.

it’ll be my first wedding. but with her confidence and down-to-earth attitude, i feel that i can give her something beautiful to remember the day by.

i finally got to meet her husband to be, paraic. and i am so glad that we were able to get together…seeing the way he is with her, how she lights up, how sweet he is with her…
